IHJ-70-BRN - Corduroy Modified Type III Brown Jacket

These come in somewhat atypical measurements for an IH type III: smaller shoulders, larger chest and waist. 
Copped the last L. I hope the measurements work out for me as it seems like a fantastic jacket. The wait begins..

Is the p2p in line with the fit chart? I’ve debated getting the brown but the measurements are slightly different than the 69 which I’m an xl in

If the P2P of @Dishelveled 's IHJ-70 is different from the sizing chart it will be because there is a plus/minus variance between garments of the same size.

When we receive stock from Japan, we measure 2 of each size/colour.  We average the measurements and that is what we publish.  We typically do it with 2 people, so any large variance between the 2 measurements is discussed and we re-measure.  If different colours of the same style/size vary, we publish separate sizing tables.

If the IHJ-70 sizing table is different than the IHJ-69 sizing table, it is because the 2 styles have different measurements.

22" just like my same sized 69, but the shoulders are slightly smaller on my particular 70 vs my 69.  It's the perfect addition to the kahki and the whipcord.  Anyone else feeling this trucker, but with darker brown color (like on the collar of the whip)??!!??

Thanks. The shoulders are the only thing that worries me. Do the shoulders feel tighter on your 70 when compared to the 69? My 69 measurements (with bigger shoulders) are very close to a large 70 and it is quite possibly the best fitting jacket I own

I didn't notice any restrictions, but in the photos the brown sits closer to my natural shoulder

Huh.  To my eye, the khaki 69 looks better and more natural on you in terms of shoulder sizing.  But then… I like wearing jeans with 25" hems, so I suppose any tailoring opinions I possess should be taken with a skidsteer's worth of salt.
