These chinos intrigue me but… ...maybe there is an error (i wish) in the measurements: knees in size 29 (my size!) is 11" , in 30 is 8" and so on, up the 42, that is 9.6"… Is this bizarre or wrong? ???

What kind of stretch could we expect out of chino cloth?
I would guess, no more than 1/2 inch or so…..
How did these do? Asking because I’m curious if it’s something you look to do again (different colors etc).
