Hoping for a large, large if that makes sense. Or would it make more sense to get an XL and wash it warm? I've put on some good weight and want it to fit well.

Alex, for the green version did you size up to a XXL (as in you’re typically an XL?

I am just on the fence with these because the XXXL measurements are so close to last years XXL measurements.

I am thinking I should size up and hot wash if needed...

@Dstauffer Unfortunately I go from M to L on shirts, I have broader shoulders and a 32" waist (and 5'10"), so if the Medium is a 'larger' medium I am ok, likewise a 'smaller' Large will fit ok - sorry, probably not much help for you.

I could see purple having potential. Not a fan of yellow and orange and I suspect that some of the previous yellow flannel colorways wound up in the outlet. how about an indigo classic check?

I think we need a black version of this.  Black as the main check color then play around with other colors from there.  A black/white/grey would probably look good.
