Ya’ll gon’ need Jesus to keep these clean
I really want one of these, but I just know this will be a stain magnet for me…
All my white IH shirts come out of the wash pretty clean…

Got it, pimped with turquoise snaps. Should look good.
I've wanted a western like this for years, and after having been promised and let down by 3 small "artisan" makers in the US, finally now have one. At least with IH the quality won't be in doubt. Nor its arrival.

Well with the whole "hedge of protection" thing and all, I'm praying I'll make it out alright!
If it does get stained, I will wash it with holy water.

What I have found to be true…
While cheap white shirts stain and stay stained, quality white shirts will clean rather easily.
My Ralph Lauren white oxfords (the 70-100USD ones, not RRL or Purple/Black label) will stain and stay stained. My Brooks Brothers of Gitman white shirts clean up easily with Shout and tooth brush.
Since this is an Ecru shirt, not. Bleached cotton white fabric, I think it will clean up easily. Obviously just my opinion, and coffee will still stain it I am sure.
Time will tell, but I’m sure this will get. Lot of wear from me this summer [emoji41]

@Giles, Fels Naptha seems to be a US product and quite pricey in the UK. Is there a UK equivalent?

No sorry, Kentaurus and Statement will
Picked mine up @Kentaurus a little while ago.
It‘s actually my first IH shirt…Strangely enough I‘m not able to upload any photos
anymore since yesterday morning. -

This is a very interesting point. My bias towards white shirts goes back to my childhood, given parents aren’t going to drop $$$ on a white shirt for their kid. I never considered the quality of the material to impact the staining/cleaning process, but it makes complete sense. I’m gonna have to rethink my position now and maybe even revisit white clothing…IH, of course
