This is a serge fabric, per our wabash rather than a denim. See the IH-824 (but without dots)

Another vote here for doing this 21oz serge in the 634 cut.  Indigo serge (which is indigo/indigo, right?) would be nice for this classic cut, especially since the indigo/indigo duck 634 is discontinued and the 634 indigo/indigo denim is endangered.  Fade-y black would be nice too…

Google suggests "serge" is a twill weave (left hand 2/2) that is sorta something between a denim twill and a duck in terms of feel, durability, stretchiness.
