Tuesday evening we all let our hair down, big thanks to @tokyoGringo for organising dinner

Wednesday and yesterday were taken up mostly with fairly intense meetings about challenges faced and opportunities we want to pursue - for IH Japan, UK and the universe as a whole!

After a rainy start to the week, the sun appeared yesterday - we had a meeting yesterday in Shinjuku and were close to the Gyoen National Garden (completed in 1906 for the Imperial Household and opened to the public in 1949).  A large and beautiful botanical park in the centre of Tokyo, we took an hour out to stroll and enjoy the sun, fresh air and lovely landscapes.

Giles was very tired - not surprisingly - long days, 8-hour time difference and late nights do take their toll, and we're not as young as we used to be!
