You pulled off getting us the purple horse engineers @Giles. I’m assuming something in olive (burlap, horse, or CXL) for the shaft would be more readily available than the purp. Or possibly switch it up with an olive vamp & counter and a brown shaft. I’m in on whatever you come up with. John

Sorry these aren’t as clean as the engineers. That red ‘Cerrado’ dust gets stuck everywhere.

@Giles The Shop Vancouver is taking pre-orders for olive chromexcel Wesco Mr. Lou’s - so if the green burlap isn’t available, possibly the olive chromexcel is available and the roughout of this leather could be used as an alternative to the green burlap. It wouldn’t be an exact rerun, but something similar. Just a suggestion. Really like the look of this boot. Thanks. John

I commissioned a pair of Mr. Lou’s from Chris at Wesco. Was really inspired by @Giles green and brown boots. Chris didn’t have anything green at the time that I liked, so I sourced some Golf Green Horween and had it drop shipped to Oregon. The shaft will match my GAH wallet, and there might be enough hide left over for a belt… we will see. I am also having the GAH buckles installed. Ordered Dec ‘22. Expected Dec ‘23.

@Giles so great to hear - thanks!! Will be looking forward to placing my order for these and getting them into my rotation. Will these be a preorder like the purps or a batch of different sizes made and then sold after manufactured? Also, how much is it to upgrade to the GAH buckles? Thanks again! John
