Text is very jittery under my thumb when scrolling and trying to read. Very annoying to lose my place and refind it constantly.

Also 2 bars at the top and 1 at the bottom constantly moving is also very annoying.

The jittery text is really a deal breaker as I feel it's migraine inducing as well as extremely frustrating.

It's like trying to read with 3 strobe lights in your face and the book is moving.

Yeah this is driving me crazy too. I’ve never been a fan of “infinite scroll” forums for this reason. I think having everything organized into pages is much more streamlined.

There is an option to switch to pagination in your settings. Definitely helped me.

I'm trying the pagination setting. So far it's not an improvement.

@chrisjohnnick I was reading through some of the older posts and just wanted to highlight a useful suggestion that you had where you wanted to save posts for later. You can now bookmark posts and you'll be able to go back to them via your profile.
Just hit the 3 dots menu at the bottom right of a post and then press 'Bookmark' to save it.

Switching to Chrome browser in mobile mode now and the pagination setting. Results seem to be better for the jittery text issue. I hope I'm not speaking too soon here.

The typing box for replying also works much better than Firefox.

The top 2 bars bouncing up and down is still present and an annoyance but overall this may be my answer.

Well this username is kinda embarrassing but i have gotten used to it.

Used to play a lot of Dota2 during my time in university. Me and my buds would be on skype calls to communicate for dota2 and i get cranky a lot when playing and i also fart a lot (which they always heard it over the mic). Thus the name.

I’m still seeing the bug that the side panel opens and then the screen freezes. This happens when I swipe to go back on my iPhone 13. Both the back functionality and opening the panel happen simultaneously and then I can’t get rid of the panel.

Mobile updates have now been rolled out so the menu does no longer get stuck and there is a close menu button.

Thanks for your feedback regarding the 'Mark as read' feature. We've now added a confirmation so that a slip of the finger no longer marks all as read with thanks to a confirmation message.

Guys I’m having some issues scrolling back in the mobile browser…sometimes it will skip way back or stutter. It’s erratic. Just a heads up

What phone and web browser are you using?
Lastly, any threads in particular where you've noticed it - any that have many images for example?

I’m using an iPhone 14 and the DuckDuckGo browser. Yes it’s when I’m scrolling up to see older posts. Usually only happens if I scroll quite a ways. I’ll pay more attention to when it happens and report back. Thanks @jtaylor69

@SKT if you're able to do a screen recording, that'd be really helpful so we can see what's happening.
If not, we will see if we can reproduce it on our end.
I think it's most likely when the older posts are loaded in as you scroll (we don't load in all posts at once to ensure that the system performs at its best).

@jtaylor69 was planning to hop on today to ask about this showing up. Is there a way to allow us to toggle this confirmation popup on or off? Personally would like it off. If there is a slip of the finger, we can go to the "Recent Posts" and see all the things that we may have just cleared away.

Also, is there any chance of different visual themes for the forum? Thinking something in a "dark" to go easier on the eyes.
