I'm torn between grabbing this vs the 19oz LHT, this one looks softer and the fades more vintage while the LHT (at least from the pictures) looks more stiff and high contrast.

And no, I'm not getting both  😃 The wife could kill me

Well it really depends on what look you would like to go for. I have the 19oz Lefty and love it to pieces, but the 21oz is a great choice too. I will say if you are going for comfort, 21oz is the go. 19oz is pretty crazy even on my third cold season its still a total beast.

Your assessment is correct. The 21oz is heavy… but super supple. The LHT is gnarly af.

Also “could” as opposed to “would” still leaves you with a chance of surviving buying both. Seems worth the risk?

After having this jacket open in a tab for months I finally decided to grab one. Now I just gotta live in it for a few months to get it to settle in. Thinking of grabbing the duck canvas pants to go with it since my slubbies aren't faded enough yet to offset the Canadian tux.

I tend to like jackets fitted which often means I buy a size smaller than I should. How does the fit look on this Type III jacket? Short sleeves are usually the biggest problem when I go too small.

Looks good, man!  Probably won't be able to layer over a UHF or hoodie, but over a T, it looks sharp.

I've been living in a size large 526PJ for a month or two now and I love it. Going back-and-forth on sizing for an eventual 526L when they come back around. I'm only 5'9" 175lbs so feel like I ought to be in a medium, but seem to need a large usually because of broad shoulders and long arms. Pretty sure I could fit the medium fine, but I worry the sleeves would be too short. My only real quibble with the large is it looks way too long when unbuttoned. Any thoughts?

Been wearing this roughly 5 days/week since getting it in early Jan. Finally feels like it's starting to relax a bit and is molding nicely

@boutsk you can wash on 30 till max 40 degrees celcius. I wouldn’t go warmer then that if you wanna avoid shrinkage
