@Giles I know you love your IHJ-79 and I was hoping if you have time you could speak to the differences in warmth between it and this parka. I’ve been eyeing the 79 for a long while and now that this parka is coming I don’t know which to get. Thanks!

Different animals completely.  I use the 79 as a layering piece or a chuck it on if I'm worried that it may get cool. The 102 is bulkier and definitely a piece of outerwear.  If I know it is going to be cold then I'll put the 102 on.  But being Primaloft it regulates temp well…..

Thanks - around what temperature would you be comfortable in this over a t shirt?

I have no idea sorry.  It never gets so cold here that I need anything more than a T under it, and my ability to gauge temperature amounts to, if water freezes, it's zero C or below, if water boils it's about 100C or above - everything in between is a mystery…..

Right now I have a spread of Iron Heart shirts in XL to XXXL.  But Im consistent with XXL in UHF.  Do you think I should go XXXL in this parka? I know its opinions and recommendations at this point but they are appreciated.  I would mainly wear the jacket with a light undershirt and some IH long sleep top, denim or UHF

Definitely 3xl.  4xl if you want a looser fit or will use it for athletic activities.

thanks for this info.  im about to obliterate my credit card. i asked similar question for the new vest.  stick to UHF?

For the vest I would recommend the uhf size.
