Hi everyone , I managed to get the purple and black check last year new with labels last Xmas

@Alex, or anyone who is up on western fit. I have IH flannel work shirts (9oz ombre and UHF) in XXL and they fit perfect. I haven't washed them yet though  :-\ (been a year or so).

From what i read most people size up on the UHF westerns. Thoughts?

Also, the size chart above looks a bit larger than other UHF charts i have seen. Are they getting larger?

The chart above says i would be an XL, i have never bought an XL in IH. always a XXL.

Trust the measurements.  Measure one of the ones you have that fits you well and compare with the actuals posted….

Are you sure the size charts are not mixed up?
It is very similar that the size chart of a western is from a work shirt and vice versa

@Denimdaddysloth i (generally) wear XL in IH western and workshirts. My westerns are more fitted while the workshirts are more generous. The westerns taper more towards the waist than workshirts, so if you need a looser waist then consider sizing up in a western.

Crucially tho, trust the charts and measure carefully. If an XL matches your preferred measurements then go for the XL.

Oh hell yeah and makes much more sense now. XL Western (my usual size) is the way to go.

After drooling over these photos…I have to sit this one out  too many other things to pay for. It doesn't help that my wife's bday is right before Xmas. Suppose I'll have to find other used UHFs as the seasons turn.

@Oaktavia I'm in a similar position. I just grabbed some chinos and now I'm kinda done for the foreseeable. Shame as I really wanted this shirt! I have to remind myself that IH will carry on making awesome stuff. Next year's UHFs will be just as good as this year's, it's okay to miss out sometimes…

Beautiful shirt! Who usually wear a size Small in the UHF has the same size in this purple edition or has grabbed a size up? Thanks in advance
