I stick to Taos , new colour volvox .
Maybe a Walker black fade 2 will follow, but only when I find them in Europe.
Stop buying from US , only when it’s absolutely necessary I will order there.

Picked up some Zephirin 47 clip-ons for my forthcoming prescription glasses. I'm not sure why, but they use G15 instead of CR39. I think I like it and it may be because of less proneness to scratching for more vulnerable eyewear. What I was less sold on was the green tint on the silver clip-ons (I think any other color would clash with the silver hardware in the Beige colorway), but I think it will work out fine. I'd considered customs, but I don't think they will be necessary.

They come in a little red silk box and include a smaller polishing cloth and natural leather sleeve.

G15 is a lens color (I think it's a shortcut for "green, filters 15% of the light). CR39 is a lens material, a form of plastic. So your G15 lenses might well be CR39.

Nope, they're mineral glass per the description on the site. They don't really recall Ray-Ban G15 at all for me, much lighter and greener. Take a look at the picture (it under-represents the difference but you can still see it):

I came to check if anyone had any frames in Volvox. @Daniel San looks like you do? Did you get those Taos yet? Curious to see how that color looks on a person — I'm not getting anything when I do a Google image search, and the model pics on the JMM site are just Photoshop composites.

It's an awesome color, just need some real-life examples!
