I’m with this 100% ^^. Just sold off my pair of SBG 555s cause I just don’t wear them when I have more comfortable jeans at my disposal. Will replace em with 888 SBGs, it’s the comfiest cut I’ve ever experienced.

Iron Heart slubby is a nice Summer denim. Seems to breath & stretch really well.  Here’s a quick shot after the  2nd soak, 5ish weeks in.  These are tricky to photograph

@Matt @Fadez @Anesthetist is there any chance that a hot soak would slim these back up at all? I definitely should have sized down on them. Also please feel free to post some fade pictures…

I hot washed and dried the sample pair we wore to try to get the waist down.  Didn’t budge an inch for me.  I haven’t washed my Prontos yet.

You’d have to check with @Anesthetist though to see if the crotch shrinks back after he clearly stretched that area to its limit.

Thanks Matt, I don't mind a larger waist because they are a high cut. But I was wondering if the legs/ass area would slim back up.

I think the waist came in a little but I dont recall the leg/seat changing all that much. Worth a shot though, the fabric keeps getting better and better.

I got these instead of soaking them. I'll let yinz know how I get on when I receive them. I love how they match the denim and stitch color. IDK if I'll be able to pull it off. But I don't mind for around the house.

Hey Mike. I know I’ve gotten them to shrink up a bit. I know Matt got a very stretched to hell pair from me haha. I wouldn’t expect too much shrink from the original, it’s just mostly after you stretch them out, they can get back to close to where they came from. Hope this helps. They do have some mad stretch in the waist though

@Oaktavia I have no idea when or if that store is going to ship those suspenders. So I got some other ones in the meantime that are made in Vermont. They are very 'over-engineered' (you can see the 2" wide straps and extra large powder coated hardware). They work very well and ane very comfortable.

I like them a lot.  Yeah I had to go with blue. If I can convince myself that they don't look completely ridiculous I would definitely get a black pair from the same manufacturer.
