@Raisinoux Actually the black is a dye that is applied over the natural colour in the picture.  As the dye fades it leaves this beautiful creation.

IHSB-BigBuck - Black Deerskin Western Shirt

A shirt we originally made especially for Haraki about 9 years ago.  We have teamed up with Simmons Bilt and recreated this beauty.  The Deerskin is sourced for the Kolesch Tannery (https://www.gerberei-kolesch.de/) which is  the oldest working tannery on Germany.  The deerskin which is tanned there, is probably the best in the world, and no chemicals at all are used in the tanning process.  The black dye is hand painted onto the face of the hide, so it will age back to the natural colour in high wear areas.

What's soon?  Hides have been delivered to UK, now have to get them made into shirts. So a couple of months I would think.

I’ve been around for a really long time,and,in my opinion,The Big Buck is the single sickest western shirt EVER! Sold my beloved Harley earlier this year and if there’s anything left after a bucket list trip to Louisville,that’s what I want.

@Jett129 I wholeheartedly agree with your opinion…it is beautiful out of the bag, wonderful to wear, and I only hope that one day it looks like Haraki’s.

If you can swing it, it is most definitely worth it.  :). It was my most worn shirt this past fall/winter.

Is there a picture of the Olive leather already to be seen? I'm in a big dilemma either to wait for the Olive or to get the Pale Rider. a possible picture of the Olive would help me decide.

Thanks guys! I could have scrolled through the pages by myself. So the difference between the Pale Rider and the Big Buck is that the Bug Buck starts dark and fades to lighter shade while it is vice-versa for the Pale Rider. Correct?

They are completely different animals, both literally and figuratively.

The Pale Rider is natural horse hide that will get darker with age, the Big Buck is a supersoft deerskin with the dye "painted" onto the face, so it will abrade over time to reveal a lighter core….

Ahah IH never disappoint, i'm not at all a summer guy, i can't wait to receive this new grail and for the return of flannel / jacket season The parcel arrive monday, i will post a fit pic on tuesday.
