Went Witt normal size medium
I’m 5’ 10 155 but I got a thick chest and small waist.
Shirt is tight on chest but perfect on waist.

@Pipeboss713 i think the fit and sizing is perfect. This leather is stiff out of the bag and as it softens with time and wear will form to your shape. In a few months this shirt will look like it was custom made just for you…

It is horsehide.. horsehide loosens up but doesn't stretch in general (not as much as cowhide)

@Pipeboss713 My experience is that the shirt did the same for me the first couple of times (2) wearing it re: button's popping. I'm on my 10/11 wear and I haven't been able to get it pop at all today.

I would not expect much stretch.
The leather gets softer of course, but if it’s too tight it stays to tight

I'm trying to save this thread before it runs off the rails:
- I said the shirt will form to you, not stretch
- The leather is stiff out of the bag and yes it will soften
A) this is accomplished by wearing and or somehow softening the leather (lotions, water, cremes, etc.) - Fit is subjective: If you feel it's too tight, then it's too tight.
- The buttons did pop in the beginning, they don't now. I've worn it for about 10/11 wears.
IMO I think the shirt is perfect, but that's my $0.02.

I had the Ezo deerskin western in medium; and felt the only thing I didn’t like is that the chest feels restraining, not even to the extent that I can pop em. So this time around I got the pale baby in large, it’s fitting me like an over shirt, but that’s how I like my shirts, and I feel 100% happy with the fit.
Bottom line is I feel like you need to be comfortable wearing it, otherwise you might end up leaving it in the closet and letting it go at some point at a lower price.
And the guys are right horse leather in general doesn’t open up much.
Just some perspective from another guy.

I lift weights myself and im getting close to 160 w/ a 40” chest.
Thinking hard about returning and going for a large.
The medium looks so sharp on me IMO but it’s pretty restricting and I worry if that will loosen up anySent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

@Olly what’s your input and experience with this shirt re:sizing and/or button pops?
Hello mate, I go for my standard Western sizing - XL - and the only time the buttons have popped is when I've been riding at 70mph with only two buttons snapped on the bike.. so I just do an extra button up and we're good.

sorry to ask, but on almost all western shirts it says you are wearing size L !?
I always order the size you are wearing so I know it will fit , haha -

The exception was the serge military one - the XL swamped me. HMU if you ever have any concerns about sizing. I'm very much XL in the pale rider
