We do have some fine Minnesotans here. I myself was when I joined until 2014. IH’s heavier gear is perfect for MN winters. Having grown up in the Deep South I appreciated being able to wear heavy gear that looks like normal clothing instead of bundling up. Though, dead of winter, both are often necessary.

I remember when I learned that -40 degrees is the same in Fahrenheit as it is in Celsius the hard way up there. I also remember when it was colder than Mars one day. What got me more than the cold (which, surprisingly for a Mississippi boy, I really didn't mind) was the short days. Then again, having a pool was really nice in the summer because the sun was out for so long. Great lazy days cooking out and hanging with my friends and neighbors. I'll always have a special place in my heart for MN.

Thanks @weftyarn I like them a lot. Some might say the bleach goes against the ideals of raw denim but I think it is just another form of customisation.
