So now I am having total FOMO.  Bought a pair of XHS (which I am loving already!!!) but y’all keep preaching the specialness of this UHR fabric.

I'm in a similar position here, but I'm currently breaking in a pair of XHSib and have an unworn pair of XHS hanging in my closet that I'm going to break in this fall. Regardless, I'd still like another pair of heavyweight IHs (crazy, I know :D), but the UHR's extreme lack of breathability might be an issue for me. I might opt for a pair of 19Ls instead.

@Daniel San @popvulture Here are some measurements from a pair of 777-UHR I had.  Sold them bc they were too big so Im afraid the info won't be too useful for stretch.  You can get get an idea how much shrink is possible with hot washes/machine drying.

Until we test the new batch, we don't really know how it will behave…..

I may have done, but H keeps on mentioning new stuff that either does not happen or takes ages to materialise.  Basically, we are overwhelming the workshops and mills and some stuff has to be killed, or it takes a long time to surface…
