Quick hemming question…since there is little to no shrinkage to be expected, and I want my final hem to rest at 32"....Should I hem to 32"? Or can I expect a little shrinkage in the length?

I would go 32.5 or 32.25 depending on how much you anticipate them stacking behind your knees

Oh, and just to sweeten the pot, grabbed the last 10oz Khaki Chambray with the white snaps IHSH-315-KHA. Been eyeballing that one for a hot second...

Nice!  Keep in mind that this fabric does not stretch like denim, don't go too lean!

@Paul9221 that's good advice. I don't want too tight. I'm kinda accounting for about 1/2 of stretch in the waist. Would you say that's doable?

@Mizmazzle ooh, that's a good question.  I think that 0.5" is possible, but I usually size my duck so that it fits right out the gate.

Maybe one of the experts can chime in on duck stretch.

I haven’t really noticed duck to stretch at all. It it does, it’s negligible. Tight duck is unforgiving.

Ha, you're good.  Your rotation can be as big or as small as you'd like!  I tend to have a big rotation but wanted to get some more fades on my XHS.  I started doing like 4-5 mile hikes in them. Sure enough, fades came pretty quickly!

Now that it's warming up, hiking in 25oz is less comfortable so I'm going to switch to the 16oz IH x Pronto slubby.  It sounds nerdy but part of the enjoyment that I get from the hike is knowing I'm putting some evolution into the jeans.  I like to always be evolving something
