WESCO-MRLOU-CXL Wesco® -10" CXL Steerhide Engineer Boot - Brown The "Mister Lou"

@Oaktavia wow they're beautiful

I will also say that thin dress socks are the best type to go with this boot IMHO. They make it easier to slip the boots on and off. I just walked back from a local brewery while wearing a pair of chup socks with them and it was a struggle to get em off. They are narrow but that's also what makes them attractive.

You're not the first person I've seen write that, about the thinner socks. Not sure if you guys have read this, but I found it entertaining and informative:

I read that same story and it got me pumped as hell when I was waiting for my boots to arrive last January. Good stuff.

Great looking bike boots @Dmart ! They are making me regret getting mine in black…
-
Thanks @motojobobo they are indeed. I would say it was a mistake returning them

They are great @Mizmazzle . The leather is getting only better with wear. They became soft and molded around my foot. The leather gets darker over the time and picks up indigo. If you have specific questions, let me know.

Hey folks. Here on a recomendation from the great @Oaktavia.
I noticed the other day during a clean that my left boot was missing all the nails at the far lip of the sole. Is this like an imminent failure issue that I should address (and how?) immediately or more meh?
Cheers,
GTP -
No, the glue on it's own is mostly enough to keep the sole attached. The stitching helps and nails too but I would not be worried if the nails are missing (imo).

Hi @GTPowers This is not something I have ever seen before. This will be something @Chris at Wesco is best placed to answer. If we don't hear back from him here, I'll give him a call later on today and get his insight.

Awesome, thank you.
