I was so in the fence about pimping with white snaps. Ultimately went with the black. Can’t argue with how classy black looks!! Beyond stoked!!!

@Kasi I've yet to venture into the GAH world. Seems everyone really dig it though. This shirt has been my grail piece since I saw the 277…was late to the IH game. So grateful they brought back a new iteration!

Based on your experience (anybody), what can be expected in terms of shrinkage with basic regular washing?

Can the fabric be meaningfully shrunk by applying heat and agitation?

If you wash at 30-40C, low spin, air dry then there will be no shrinkage. Turn it up 60C and tumble then there will be.

Expect less ongoing shrinkage than you'd get with a UHF.

As @neph93 says if you wash it carefully it won't shrink at all. If you need half an inch of shrink, you'll get it on a hot wash and dry, but no guarantees on the colour after that

And yes, we have sold out I am afraid and unfortunately none left in Japan…..

@Howay04 Damn that 316 looks great in the western cut!! I was on the fence about swapping out the snaps for white ones….your pic confirms my decision to stick with the black snaps. Just looks so damn classy!!!

These shirts are absolutely beautiful.  I’ve never owned a UHF or any flannel from Iron Heart, but this one was too good to pass on.  I couldn’t decide between the blue or yellow, they’re both amazing, and my wife would probably kill me in my sleep if I bought both, so I ended up with the blue.  Can’t wait for it to arrive.
