I love this shirt too. I'm picturing it with turquoise snaps, if those are to be restocked.

I have a very similar Flat Head version in a lighter chambray with diamond snaps or I'd already have one of these.

Funnily enough, when we next asked the question, the Japanese found some more of the original fabric.  So, we have western and work in the works…

Hey @endo this shirt looks amazing!! I just snagged the last one in stock…and a size large at that! I was curious on the weight and feel of this fabric. You mention its a nice summer weight. It gets like 90-100 degrees F here in Colorado. At 10oz my brain leans towards what a denim shirt would feel like, but can't quite wrap my head around a chambray. I'm having a bit of spenders guilt as I also bought some 888Ds. (and about 7 other IH pieces for that matter in the last year...hell, i'm a teacher, we're all rich anyways!!)
It's getting hot out, is this a justifiable purchase for my summer wardrobe???

Hey @Mizmazzle …not Endo but I’ll say it feels lighter to me than my 10oz IHSH-13. I can comfortably wear it when it’s pretty hot and sticky here in the Midwest. I think you’ll love it!

I think it looks great with denim.  I’d love to hear your thoughts about the fabric once you have it in hand. Mine is going to get a lot of wears over the next few months. Enjoy it!

Hey @Mizmazzle , you will know when you wear the shirt. I can only say, that I really like it , especially for travelling, also in warmer climate. It feels lighter than the 10 oz Chambrays, but still the good IH quality and touch. Don‘t think you did anything wrong. And as SKT wrote, it combines very good with denim. Have a great time with this wonderful shirt.

Alright folks!! I’m going away on a fishing trip for a week. When I return I’ll have a whole lot of IH gear being delivered and ready to be abused. This Khaki Chambray, some 888 XHS, and some 888Ds!! Hell fire how’d I get so fortunate in this life? My gratitude does not go unspoken!!

Agreed. In the photo it looks like it drapes like a lighter weight. and another vote for work shirt
