so this is maybe my route  Manchester Piccadilly to London Euston 2h 33m

London Euston to Southampton 1h 55m
                                    Southampton to Gosport 1h
                                    Porthsmouth Harbor to Gosport
                                    after that the hotel

then here i come….

I haven't worked out airfare yet, but I think I'll probably make it.  I do love visiting Gosport, the jewel of England's South Coast.

I've been standing on the edge for a while, wondering whether to take the plunge.  This morning I got an unexpected push (when I mentioned the UHHH to a friend who has no interest in this sort of thing), so I'm in.  I just hope this doesn't make anyone else want to climb straight out!

@Signal11 - apologies for the very late response.  Yes, I think there will be a number of canine guests, which will be lovely (provided they all get along!) 

The garden at the back of the offices is enclosed and pretty dog safe

Paula, thank you for this info. I just reserved The Granary. I mentioned the party, in the notes.

I will be cancelling my booking at the Spring Garden Apartments. But, I will hold on to it until someone who is planning to come claims it. I have it reserved through Booking.com, and it does require a 3 night minimum stay. Anyone looking for a place, who can meet the 3 night minimum, should PM me…**
