IHSH-208-IND - Indigo Kersey Western Shirt

Just washed mine for the first time. Came out of smelling strongly of bleach. Anyone ever have this experience/might know what caused the smell?
Just to clarify, no bleach was used in any wash prior to putting the shirt in!

I gave mine its first wash in the last couple weeks…I was hoping for a little shrink so I threw it in the machine inside out, on the hottest setting, gentle cycle. Then hung dry. No issues - shrank a tiny bit, looks great, and smells like Tide. Maybe you had some bleach left in the machine from a prior wash?

No bleach used recently. I thought the same thing, but the shirt came out looking the same - no orange stains typical of bleach contact. I asked my roommate and she hasn't used any either. Come to find that we don't even have bleach in the house haha.
Thanks for your input guys. I guess I'll just give it another run through the wash, maybe with warm water and a little extra detergent!

Wearing mine today. This is easily my favorite IH shirt, in the rapidly expanding collection I have. Like a buttoned corduroy sweatshirt. Can't wait until it's fully faded.

@rydor @Skelly both looking awesome in this. I came to Kersey last year with the grey and black, and don't normally do indigo/navy shirts but you're both making a strong case for this. The one I really want is the camel though. That was an amazing colour and now I realise how well the material will suit it. Comfy and stylish.

@Skelly i think we snagged the final two in xxxl. I added copper snaps to the pockets and sleeves. Pics today hopefully.

Went to pick up my hemmed jeans and ended up buying the Kersey Western at Self Edge. I was always reluctant because the measurements looked off for me but after trying it on it was game over for my wallet.
I'm 5'7 170lb (muscular) so getting clothes that fit is difficult. I went with an XL as the L was too tight in chest. Hope this helps someone with similar build. I did have the get the sleeves hemmed a bit but everything else was good. Can't wait to put some miles on it.

Took it to my long time tailor. Make sure you get spare snaps if you order direct from IH. To hem it right they gotta move the snap to center it on the sleeve split.
