At first I was torn between the Deck N1 and this one. The Deck jacket is certainly warmer but the M51 is more versatile and can be worn longer in the seasons, at least here in this climate, plus I am covered with very warm jackets.
Once I have put the coat on, the decision was made.

This thing is a beast - big, sturdy and very warm. It follows the heritage of the original but on an IH level. Two minor issues I'm wondering about: no storm cuffs and no hanger, both I might get altered.

Here I'm wearing a tee, a longsleeve, the IHSH-289-GRN, the IHJ-79-BLK und the M-51.
Together with the XHS it provides a - ahem - tropical climate underneath.
