IHSH-274-IND - 12oz Hickory Stripe Work Shirt - Indigo

Many thanks to @Giles & the stubborn crew for always fixing me up with lady size shirts. Received this Thursday afternoon & after a hot wash been using it as the morning and evening dog-walking shacket.

Been wearing it unbuttoned as that’s how I’ll wear it 99.9% of the time, but today buttoned it up bc why not. I noticed that near the second to the last button it flares out considerably and at the last button where the side gussets start the shirt tapers in quite noticeably, which gives it an odd silhouette. I suspect it will be too tight or unbutton-able with denim on but as mentioned,  buttoning it up will be rare, just find it quite odd. Is this typical for work shirts? This is my second work shirt. The IHSH-21 doesn’t do that and if it does it isn’t noticeable.

I got the same shirt! I noticed there is some poochiness around the gusset area on mine too (size L) compared to my wabash work shirt.

quickly comparing measurements to the Wabash work shirt and my 91 Hickory stripe work shirt (my 91 doesn't have gussets so there no apples to apples here aside from fabric). both have a smaller waist measurement than the opening measurement. The 274 measures a smaller opening across the board on the site, but doesn't seem typical of work shirts.

It is marked as being in continuous production so there will be a restock at some point… couldn't tell you when but @Alex may know.

@a.aron - what size? I may be able to get hold of one from Japan. A rerun will; not happen until mid next year, though.

Hello hello!

Quick question regarding this shirt. I see that it says these have been rinsed, so shrinkage will be minimal. I think I might be between XL and XXL, so was wondering roughly how much shrinkage is left in this shirt, in case it might be wiser to go with one vs the other. I also read on the western-version forum topic that this fabric has some stretch in it?
