@RoxRocks86 they're finally starting to break for me, the combs look like once the fades start ramping up they should be great. Also, local weather has finally gotten to a point where I can feel comfortable wearing them everyday. I'm surprised the blue hasn't started to pop more, but I've got a couple spots where I always rest one leg over my knee where the indigo is coming through. I've been really impressed/happy with them. How yours?

I absolutely have missed the forum this past summer! Whenever I start up a somewhat large(ish)project i spend a few months easing into it and correcting whatever the PM or admin is lacking on ::) Think it’s finally at the point where i can boss the gc crew and subs around hoping that means more free time with IH updates and on the forum 
@Joberwocky happy to hear/read. I’m sure you’ll get some electric blues soon. Your summer temps where you’d wear your bibs were absolutely insane and way more uncomfortable than what we had here in Hawaii. I could barely wear my bibs if temps were in teh high 70sF so bravo to you!
Idk how you managed to do that! As of now, certain days we’ve been hitting high 60sF in the early mornings. I’m normally up and out by 4:30a.m. - 6:30a.m. But mid day get insanely hot esp. since I’m working an exterior job atm. But that’s not stopping me from wearing xhs or xhsib! don’t ask, don’t tell haven’t worn the ib’s regularly and they looked brand new besides knee fades and creases, but they’re finally picking up some elec. blues. Will have to take some snaps this weekend. -

Got home from work today and phase one of plaster boarding the old lathe ceiling is done. Also a long awaited parcel arrived from Andersen Andersen, the skipper jacket in taupe un-dyed thick merino wool. Finally found a cardigan I’m happy with. Worn with tender butterfly short sleeve shirt, the go-anywhere IH888SST, and White’s Clutch Cafe semi-dress rough out sample. Featuring the plaster board framing the original ceiling rose before skimming tomorrow. New brass light fixture to come in good time. And plastering on the walls, and etc.

Looking fabulous. I've never plastered over a lath ceiling as you lose some profile on the cornice and the rose when you do it, but fuck is removing lath and plaster a shitty, dirty job…..
If you need any help soucing period-correct kit, I'm pretty good at that. I've rebuilt 2 derelict Georgian houses and 1 Victorian.....

Love this place. Everyone is so helpful and genuinely kind to one another!
Today, All Works, Inc except the Strike Gold 3105 LHT jeans (I enjoyed my first pair so much I copped a second whilst on sale, probably my final non-IH jeans purchase), and all indigo up top including one of those old discharge printed short body Triple Works tees (such a short body I only layer with it, which is perfect because I’m not keen on my base layers poking out from under my shirt). I love these Viberg collab smokejumpers. The most labor-intensive shoes I have to don and doff, so they don’t get used when it’s messy outside, but once they’re laced up they are so comfy.
Tomorrow we will be at Red Rocks so I’ll wear a slightly warmer outfit (same thing I wore yesterday. Sue me!)
