Well another unplanned IH purchase in the books.
Same/same. For once I didn't hem since I'm so unfamiliar with this cut and denim. I may just warehouse these until I finish with my current pairs and hem them then when there's more intel on how the denim reacts to wash and wear.
I took a gamble and am having hemmed mine to my usual length (32.5”, same as my 888-RE). Here’s to hoping that they work!

Anybody have a 666 and switch to 888? I love to try this but afraid the thigh will be baggy for me
I have 666 and 888. And enjoy both. Very different cuts though, in every way possible. The 888 is a relaxed fit not a slim fit, so a wider thigh is part of the aesthetic.
The 666 in the denim will be released in a couple of months, but without the collab details (pocket shape, pocket bags, logo placement, brown selvedge ID).
My hands are itching to get this. I love to try a new cut but at the same time my heart says no. So follow the hands or heart guys?

@Thepins IH has a very generous no quibble return policy. So just get them unhemmed and you can return them if you don't like how they fit.

Thanks, it has been a while! I've been busy. I actually haven't made a skydive since summer 2017. I was working full time, going to college full time, got married, bought a house, got a real job. Ya know all the fun stuff of life. But, in a couple days I am going to go meet the owners of a dropzone that is close to where I live now, I'm hoping to work for them next summer. In the mean time I'll be wearing the shit out of these jeans in my home office

I love the look of these, beautiful. The only thing that worries me is the high rise. Im 5'7/170ibs so not that tall. Will the high rise be to intruding? I currently only have worn 555.
No reason why a high rise won’t work on a trim figure.

Might be nice to have some variety in the cut department. The 888 will give you a very different look than the 666.
Im a 38.3 in waist for my 666 14oz and have stretch a good inch after a month of wearing. 38 tag measures 37.2 for this though. Think it will work for me since this is a high rise?

Depends on your body shape. The waist on these will sit higher up so if you have a belly you may find them uncomfortable. That being said, there is a decent amount of waist stretch to be had on these.
You can also ask the crew if there is a w38 that comes up large.

Any of you guys have experience ordering off pronto’s site?
I wasn’t planning on picking up slubby denim at all just the tee, but all the details on this collab suckered me in. Ended up snagging a pair of size 28 off prontos website. Just hoping it arrives alive and that the rise doesn’t have me buried up to the pits.

I wish that last size 32 would sell so I could quit almost checking out [emoji28]. I’ve decided to hold off on these, and just wait for the regular cuts of the slub denim. Excited to see how these age tho!
