Excellent. Balloon Fiesta next week. Apparently I will have to get out of the house at 4:30 am to beat the traffic to the fiesta grounds. I’m sure for an experienced angler like @Giles thats no big deal, but if I try to get up before 8 am the results are generally catastrophic. I guess we’ll see.

03:50 this morning - "had" to catch a flight to Portugal - I have unfinished business with Portuguese Bass…...I have to say, I feel a little less than optimal atm

Very excited to get into it today. We’re starting with a 5 miler at Dead Horse Point St Pk. Hopefully that and lots of coffee will remedy my post drive back trauma and sleep deprivation caused by the kids’ first night in the hotel.
I’ll put up some scenery shots here and some 16 oz slub shots on the sample thread.
