Hahahaha a multiple Birk owner like me! How do you like having the back strap on those Milanos, @seawolf?

I’ve never worn a pair of Birk sandals without the back strap, so I love it!

Ugh, I'd love to see which models they carry that aren't available here in the United States. C'mon, @Giles  😃

Alright, I'm a little birk-curious.  What's the sizing like on these?  Like, how do they size compared to some Chuck Taylors?

YESSS – another convert! I wear a 48 EU (15 US) in the Arizonas, Bostons, and Londons. I wear a 15 US in Vans, 14 UK in Doc Martens, and a 15 US in Allen Edmonds. Does that help any? I don't wear Converse so can't help you there.

Oh man goodness!  Size 15?!  Your feet are literally 50% bigger than mine!  LOL

Okay, sounds like I need to figure out my Vans sizing based on my Chucks sizing, so that I can figure out my Birks sizing!  Thanks, HD!

I need to cool it on the spending for the next 3 weeks or so, but I can start planning.

@Paul9221 – I would 100% recommend hitting a store near you that sells them. I think Nordstrom's at South Coast Plaza might? If I could find my size IRL, I wouldn't have ordered all of mine online  😃

That's a solid point. I figured they must sell them near me.  I'll do that once I'm ready to pull the trigger.

                      Thanks!

Maybe you Birk freaks can help me out here.

I have been wearing my first pair of Bostons for ~5 years. It's about time for new ones. They don't feel too big but they are a struggle to keep on my feet, they always want to fly off while walking. I've become used to it, but ideally would want them to fit better. I've had several holes to the straps over the years. Should I size down, or is this the reality of the Bostons?

I am an 11.5 and am wearing 44s.

                                            Hi @TheKingHarvest ,

before downsizing, check which width you own first.
                                            Birkenstock produce two versions.
The pictogram and description is confusing…  filled  black is the narrow one.

If you own Medium/Narrow already, downsizing to 10.5/43 don’t look like an option.
