@Paul9221 it was the pre-production sample and was only available in L. However, I thought the measurements looked doable and I was right, they are. It may be a little short for some peoples tastes (not mine), and I can only wear it over a tee as opposed to as a true shacket. The bonus is I can get my bigger type III over it.

It remains to be seen if the production version has the same dims.

Looks like the black shirt still has the non-tonal stitching.  Is Japan going to stick with the "louder" stitching?

They probably would have done, often when we change something for our market they will keep their design as it was

I realise it is a matter of taste, but I can assure anyone on the fence that the black with contrast stitching is very, very cool in real life…

I'm sure that the tonal stitching would look nice, make the shirt a little stealthier.  But I think the contrast stitching looks great!  Plus, it'll stick out more next to the other black shirts in my closet
