The chances of me jumping into that pool are somewhere between zero and none @deanclean. You’re all men of substance and taste so there is clearly something I’m missing here, but what it is, I do not know. No matter how I turn it in my head I can’t think of an area in life I would use these.
I've been wearing them since I was 14 years old, and to me there's nothing more comfortable for my high arches than a pair of broken-in birkenstocks. I prefer wearing them to being barefoot, and I wear them in the house daily and out of the house almost daily. Most of my footwear comes in the form of Birkenstocks or Wesco boots, and that's what I wear whenever I'm awake.

I felt much like you did, @deanclean. And then I thought: "Dude. You're 31. When're you gonna finally choose to be comfy and not give a fuck?" So now I have three pairs of Birks for different scenarios (weather changes, dinners with friends, around the house, etc.) and wear a women's handbag as a tote cause I think it's cute. ??? -
Ha, glad everyone is allowing themselves to enjoy what they like and not concern themselves too much with looking goofy. Great looking Birks, everyone.

Going on 10 years for this pair. They were navy. I’m not cool enough to buy purple. This is my 5-6 pair. I have yet to find anything more comfortable. Left my feet out the pic on purpose

Alright, I'm a little birk-curious. What's the sizing like on these? Like, how do they size compared to some Chuck Taylors?
YESSS – another convert! I wear a 48 EU (15 US) in the Arizonas, Bostons, and Londons. I wear a 15 US in Vans, 14 UK in Doc Martens, and a 15 US in Allen Edmonds. Does that help any? I don't wear Converse so can't help you there.
