Thirded. Prayers for the Gulf Coast, including the Bayou towns like Houma that got wrecked and places like my home town of Jackson, MS that will suffer from the storm as it passes inland.

But especially for New Orleans, given its population and structural density, culture, and history. 16 years to the day since Katrina when Ida made landfall.

Yes, Puget Sound. The northern tip of Vashon Island is on the left of the frame, and Bainbridge Island is in the distance behind me.
