Thank you! School start (mid August) nearly always marks a noticeable drop in temps. The light changes a little and there is a bite to the air. Those golden August’s that occasionally blessed my childhood in the U.K. don’t happen this far north.

Met up last night with Clint and Allie for sushi dinner (fantastic) and later headed to his place where a vast treasure of IH pieces are up for oogling and quite a few for sale. Picked up 5!!! Totally unexpected but equally welcome chance to acquire them. You are right, no IH convert in Austin should ever skip the opportunity to check out the Clint boutique.
Yeah…the japanese whisky at his house was also memorable!

I’m very happy with the Ignition jeans. They are perfect at the waist and top block and slightly snug at the thighs but that is cause I’m used to looser fits. Not uncomfortable at all, just unusual to me.
The fabric is very textured, similar to a kersey but less so. They feel raspy to the touch, quite a bit more so than other IH denim.
I’ve wearing them in the Austin heat and no thermal discomfort there but I am used to that. Not sure northern climes people would agree with me on this.
Clint did mention the visit from you and your brother some time ago. I had a great time with the Deins last night.
