@GardenState piqued my interest in how it can be difficult to appreciate 'how it fades' (aside from seeing various old pairs) so Steve and I got some shots of his 555S-142 (these were the first sample)

@AdamJ Thats awesome. It piqued my interest as well. Maybe other people will also see the great colors achievable in this weight. Lightweight has a use after all.

I took the leap on these and I’ve found that these have a slightly higher rise than the 555S-21 which I quite like. Have others noticed the same? Or am I dreaming this up?

I really like the rise of the 555 but the legs are very tight.
Will the thighs stretch much or should I go with a different cut ?

The thighs will relax a little. Stretch happens in proportion to length, so you are looking at getting about 0.2 or 0.3 of an inch. Not much but it may help.

They're tighter than I'm used to around the waist and thighs but I think they should be just right after a few weeks' worth of wear. I think the size and cut look good so I'm hoping they work out for me.

Howdy ya’ll. So, I’ve been looking for boots and jeans for the ladies side of the spectrum that comes anywhere close to how luck with are with Iron Heart and some other really great men’s wear companies. Any one have experience with an IH cut that works for women? Want to get her styled out for Christmas but options are limited with denim and almost nonexistent with women’s boots. Handmade etc.

555 and 777 are the slim tapered cuts, but the ladies on here look great in 634, 666 or 888 too. Depends on hee tastes and shape.

As for boots RW have an extensive womens line, but imho Custom Wesco’s would. Be the way to go.

Depending on her size, I’d have a look at the 463 or 461, also. Best course is going to be to get her favorite pair and measure them the IH way on the sky, so that you can get a good fit.
