Soft crab sandwich on Italian bread with tomatoes and my father-in-law’s homemade tomatillo salsa and a Chardonnay…

ABQ has black throated hummingbirds.  We have one in our tree.  We’ve been monitoring its nesting this spring…

It is.  I bought a humming bird feeder and hung it under the nest and we sit in the front room with beers and watch the mom fly back and forth to feed the baby.

ABQ BioPark Aquarium and Botanical Garden…

This is the Ceremonial Garden, a pavilion lined with wisteria.  A Bosque Porcupine lives in the roof.  Apparently they’re native to the wooded area along the Rio Grande (the bosque).

The bathroom in the Bugarium has a seemingly normal looking mirror until you get up close enough to trigger a light behind its two way glass…

Then it’s all roaches…
