Uhm its hard to say. I perceive these as being slightly heavier than the recent vest I had, and heavier than the  double indigo Pronto pair. But I can let you know in a week or so since I have a new pair of regular XHS on the way. 

Definitely update. I'm curious myself.

@acboston I'd say they are the same. It's just the thickness and stiffness and how these are when they are washed and how they feel broken in kind of blurs the lines of perception.

Just picked up a pair of these and I'm curious to know how they end up feeling compared to the 21oz IH fabric.

I sized down on these from my 634s and the fit is absolutely perfect, but damn do they make me curious to know how much that stiffness drops off.

Haven’t had a pair of the ib, but I have tried a few types of 25oz, and nothing rivals the softness of broken in XHS. Like sweatpants. For real. It takes over a year of regular wear for me to get em there, though.

@Denim-n-dust they get crazy soft. But it is different. I'd say the reverse of the fabric is pretty similar but the outside of XHS feels like silk mated with suede and then 21 oz denim. The only denim that I have ever felt that has a softer hand is the 21 oz LHT… The hand of that almost feels like 2 year old Boll and Branch sheets. It's like really something else.

Found a boot that pops with these, redwing moc in slate muleskinner. The black last with white stitching matches up to the cuff details perfectly.

Day 73 - I freaking love these jeans. The cut is superb and super grateful for
All the sizing help I got from Adam and Graham online. Before this pair I just kept buying
The wrong size (usually too tight) in other brands and feels great to succeed.

Not sure if you can see the fades in these shots but they are fading surprisingly fast in the front upper and legs.
These jeans seriously put me in the best mood everyday. Cheers!
