Traditional gender roles are for chumps. Also: just because I don’t post pics don’t mean I’m not cookin’ [emoji6]

…it seems to be my role in the Universe, to stir the pot so to speak.
...Dad was born in 1935 so, but his mother ( Grandma ) was a seamstress at the St.Paul Hotel and the first female union steward. That was back in the day when there was nothing but the traditional roles.
...have made my living in the food and liquor industry for the past 40 years. Married for 30, divorced for the last 5 ( and my ex is a great cook!) So man am I cooking!
...Giles, neph93 and Chap have given me another way to use my Le Creuset Dutch Oven and absolutely inspired me to give baking bread a shot but nothing that compares to what I see on this thread, incredible!
...here's proof that there's plenty of room for me to up my game.
Stripped bear for all to see! ???

…it cracks me up sometimes that it's all the guy's here baking and cooking!
Renaissance men!
Modern women like to say "get you a man who can do both". I cook, I do the laundry, I make bread, I raise the kids, I change tires, I shovel snow, I build shit, I fix shit, I drink, I swear, I fart. I like it that way personally. I don't use skin cream though, just to be clear.
…neph93 you are indispensable!

Can’t see what’s wrong with that bread @vaquero357 … looks great even meets Reubens aesthetic claim with a wonderful split

Decided to try out a Ciabatta for the first time. The Poolish is brewing at the moment.
Fun fact. Ciabatta was invented in 1982 by an Italian baker who was pissed off by the ubiquity of the French Baguette and his country's increasing reliance on it (which in itself, was not invented until 1920)….
