Larry Smith, Munqua, Tenable Crafts, Dear Blossom are all names that spring to mind.

Creep.jp - I have five or six of his pieces. Level of sculpture is serioualy awesome but may not be to your taste.

      The Great Frog

      Chris Hawkins from Brighton

Repop Mfg (had one of his rings made from all sterling silver and had him change a few bits. Great bloke to deal with).

The above and Good Art are my go to (other than vintage Stephen Webster, but SW new mens stuff is fucking awful and hideously overpriced).

Red Rabbit LA do some nice pieces too.

The Good Art nr10 ball chain bracelet is pretty great. Also you can add more connectors to it as time goes on.

Also, check some of your favorite denim retail shops. If they carry Iron Heart, I trust their judgment on other things 🙂

I have a lot of love for 13luckymonkey, they make some of the best silver skulls around. Don't hesitate to send em an email with a custom request! I own 3 rings from them all custom and unique.

@phillyforager you are in the USA? Depends on your style/taste I guess. Personally, I just don't get the fascination with Good Art. The silver content x design doesn't = the price. I'm keeping personal taste aside, it feels to me that there is a large chuck of brand prestige going on there. Won't be a popular view here though.

I really like Crazy Pig Designs in London. The have great designs and casting (to my tastes), and there is jewellery for a range of budgets.

Silver content means fuck-all in anything but the cheapest jewellery, it's currently at less than USD27 per ounce.  So does not really factor into cost or price…

Absolutely my point 'the silver content x design doesn't = the price'. That's why I don't understand the price point of some jewellery producers. I guess I do more so for items such as thicker bracelets and wallet chains, but when it comes to rings with fairly basic symmetrical designs that look like they'd be pretty easy to cast and polish, I'm a bit more lost.

Possibly something to do with what happens between getting the lump of silver and putting out the product? The processes many of these makers go through to produce a piece of jewellery is insane, both in terms of design and production.

I have been taken around The GOOD ART HLYWD foundry and have seen the process.  My abiding impression was how the fuck is this stuff so cheap?  I suspect that is a view shared by anyone who has had the privilege of so doing too.

I get that people don't like the aesthetic, and that bothers me not a flying-fuck, but that does not mean it's bad or wrong or over-priced, it just means it is not for everybody.

Sort of pretty similar to Iron Heart.

I don't get that some people will pay USD3,700 for a Visvim N1, when they could get a better one for USD750, but each to his own….

No doubt about it. I've spent a bit of time with the folks at Crazy Pig Designs when I was planning a bespoke ring - put on hold by covid  😢 the drafting of the design, wax carving, casting, detailing, and polishing involved for a one off is crazy. I had a piece made by a Cornish jeweller for my wife a few years back made from actual Cornish gold (who knew that still existed?!). That was a bit more pricey.

Definitely to each their own. I appreciate that. I don't recall saying I think that GA is shit, just that I don't get the price point. I'd be tempted by a couple of their chains if I could justify the price.
