I missed a medium, they went quickly! Signed up for restock alert though, and am still also interested in the 22oz jacket. Can anyone speak to a comparison between the two?

The 22oz is old school design, intended to be slightly shorter in the body and without side pockets. Otherwise they are very similar in terms of design and construction.
With regards to the denim, there are strong similarities between the 22oz and 21oz. Both are traditional RHT and bear witness to Haraki-san’s fondness for an even, smooth face. The 22oz has a slightly tighter weave and fades quicker. It also has the brown weft which is just beautiful imho.
On the other hand, nothing moulds and softens like the 21oz. You’re on to a winner either way.

Thanks! Thought the shorter body might work better on my compact frame, and would be good to wear the 22 type 3 with 21 jeans.

Medium arrived today and to no one's surprise it's an amazing piece and I'll probably be wearing it to bed it's that comfortable already

Is this jacket made from the same denim as the 555s-01-21? Is the shade of indigo the same as well?

Ordered this on the 13th…was expecting to see it arrive here in Berlin next day, much like all of my other IH orders in the past.
Got a message from UPS that is was held up in customs, which was a first for me.
The 14th came and went---then the 15th.
Now today UPS says it has cleared customs and should arrive on Monday the 18th.
Im thinking its a BREXIT thing---cant wait to get my hands on this jacket.
Good thing I have the patience of a Saint:)

Thats exactly what happened ! Ordered it on the 13th–-had to wait over the wknd until the 18th to pick it up.
But now its here and all is good in the world again.

Sizing question for you all. I sized up in this jacket. The one I had before was from an older run and it was just a little too sung. Anyway, do you think it fits? Too long?
