No one knows and if they do they aren’t telling. It is overdyed twice so will be mo’ black. The regular OD had a lovely three dimensions fading pattern, so an extra layer of black may make that (even) more interesting.

So that isn’t a theory but a hypothesis. Now we need to put it to the test.

Don’t I know it… although the IH-555-XHSbb are also speaking to me. The measurements on those look doable for me.

Here are a couple of pics of the MBMF's (thanks @RoxRocks86 ) and the "normal" overdyed.  Won't tell you how they will fade, but gives you a comparison out-of-the-box…

Any thoughts on a 555 fit? Also I know it's top secret but will these fade or merely wear out (are they sulfur dyed?).

What we made in which fabric/due combo this fall was dictated by retailer demand.  The MBMF's were not particularly popular with retailers, we had to scale back, the 555 in MB was one of the casualties. It may happen in the future, but it completely depends on how the MBMF as a whole sells this Winter/Spring…

The MBMF’s have touched down! & these are some seriously badass mf’ers to say the least. They practically look like a pair of black denim with a very dark indigo tinge. The previous pics posted really depict how they are in real life - very VERY dark compared to the standard OD that we know and love. They have the same OD smoothness and that same great richness in color, albeit something completely different but with a sense of familiarity.

Some quick fit pics with the shadows brought up a tad to show some detail.

Will be sending these to Indigo Proof for waist alterations as they easily slip off fully buttoned, hemming, aaand debating on full leg tapering or just leaving it as it. Gonna start 2021 with these MBMF

Being curious to how this denim would look with a little fading going on, chopped them to hem length & gave the cut-offs some concrete love then threw it in the washer and dryer.

The denim is still very dark and more black in real life than the photo’s suggest, but the roping and areas with fades do have that nice pop of blue to them. This denim is gonna fade beautifully! Can’t wait to see someone do them justice. I’m holding off on my pair for a few months giving & XHS some love atm
