I didn't realize we had so many SJ fans!  I didn't pick this one up but that blue is fantastic!  Looking forward to seeing your pics.

      Blanket-line all the things!!!

Love the Ramblin' Jacket. Wish it were long enough to fit my tall ass. Wore my new sized up Wills for the first time tonight though. Feels good, man.

Loving all Ship John products… picked up a Towes in waxed black canvas that is awesome... the quality really is something else!

I am waiting on a custom pair of SJ Wesco Canyon boots... only 3 months to go!! 😞

I keep trying to latch onto the Wills reorders but they all disappear within minutes of going live...

@FairlyVague  - the new purchase looks mighty fine!

And finally - a special mention to @Brock - looking awesome as always and thanks for bringing the brand to my attention  in the IH forum

          P+L to all…

              Crappy mirror-selfie, incoming:
Ramblin’ jacket is, however, far from crappy!

You wear it better than I do.  It’s nice to see it on others. Feels like I’ve only really seen THE Ship John and myself in it so far.

@palmer The Ramblin jackets appear to have sewn up at least 2" longer than the fit chart, mine should've been 27" in XXL, came in just about 29"  I know of 2 other guys whose jacket came in long.. I guess my point is if you can get one after they're released.. it'll be long enough for you.

Great fits everyone! @Boyo I’m assuming you got an XXL. Did the sleeves end up longer too?

@Boyo  Great fit, I got a L and it's slightly too long in the sleeves and a bit baggy.  How much shrinkage if any would you say you got from your warm soak?  I'm debating exchanging/selling mine, not sure I will get enough shrink from a soak.

I dont think it shrank all that much… here are the current measurements, I didn't measure before the soak tho, so I can only go by the size charts..
                              Post soak:
                              Size 2XL
                              Chest 25
                              Shoulder 20
                              Sleeve 27
                              Back 28.5

Sorry for the crappy quick fit pics, I'm so on the fence about this one.  I think its just a bit too roomy and long.  So disappointed, the jacket is a beauty!

I put mine straight into the washer and drier, right out of the box. I knew going in it would be a little big. Shrunk just enough. I realize that once you do this you own it. I didn’t measure before and after,so I can’t quantify how much it shrunk.

Hey, I don't have this particular jacket but I did get the Kuroki denim jacket last year.  When I got it, the sleeves were LONG.  I had to cuff them back just to have them not go past my wrist, and that was something like a 2" cuff.  So I did, and I wore it, and I washed it and dried it, and then it got to just about the perfect size.

I'd have to see it in person to know if it's really too big but I have a feeling that you probably sized correctly and you just need to wash/dry it to get it to shrink a tiny bit to be just right.  And try throwing a flannel underneath it and see how that feels/fits.

Try cuffing the sleeves.  Don't unbutton them, just fold the sleeve back.  See how that looks/fits.
