@Giles were you able to find anything out about a possible release for this denim? There’s a few days left to make a final decision in the Indigo Invitational and I thought the 19oz IB’s could have great potential for competition worthy fades. Thanks and have a nice day.

I updated the schedule a few days ago.  That's the best I can do at the moment.  Thoiugh we have no FW20 jeans currently inbound from Japan, so that puts any of them at least 10 days away….

How will this denim stretch out compared to the 21oz S? Or the 17oz organic N? Is it similar to either? Those are what I have experience with.

It will stretch like all denim does. The 21oz is notable for stretching easily, the 17oz takes a bit more work, but you should certainly count on an inch in the waist.

I seem to recall something about the successor to the IHSH-177/178 being made out of 19oz denim.  Is this that denim?  It's got a really beautiful shade of indigo.

19oz was something we discussed, but it was the LHT.  Haraki said he did not want to do that in the end.  We then considered this denim, but in the end, decided we would go with the 18oz vintage. We had sampled the shirts in the 18oz vintage and @Alex and @AdamC had been wearing the samples and are evolving beautifully….

Thanks for the info, G!  I would love to see this 19oz denim on something I can fit into in the future but I trust you guys to pick out the best material for the job.  Have Alex or Adam posted any pics of the 18oz vintage denim that they've been wearing?
