And that's a Tascam 388 recorder, runs 1/2" tape with a mixer. The thing on top of it with a bandana over it is a Moog Rogue.
So is the tascam like an 8 track recorder?

Yep! Basically like the 8 track reel to reel predecessor to the 4 track Portastudio cassette guys we had in the 90s. It's pretty cool, but definitely a bit of an endeavor to work with compared to a modern DAW. Lotsa great records have been made with em though — I think Paul's Boutique included, iirc.
And yep, massive gear problem in this household, haha.

And well, Florida decided to heat everything up before Hurricane Delta hits Louisiana and blesses us with days of rain, so switched into more appropriate “why do I live in the tropics??” Gear

@Smiladon - naw, we will be good this time, as will our family in Alabama.. only about 1-3 inches of rain to the west of us, and about 1 inch of rain forcasted for us in the panhandle - unlike Sally, where the coast endured about 30 inches of rain paired with 123mph winds.
However, my family is East Texas looks like they may get to experience their first major storm… hoping my dad used the strong screws when rebuilding the deck at our cabin last year lol

I am one of the IH and GYW wearers that isn't as hard on his clothes/boots as most others. I am in awe of those who spend $400 on a shirt only to drag it behind the car on the way home.

Thank you, sir! And yeah, I certainly get that. I don't ever go out of my way to muck stuff up, rather a bit more of a fan of the natural aging of stuff. I haven't worn these boots much beyond around the house though, due to working from home, so I'm looking forward to knocking the new off of em a little bit as time goes on.
