In all probability, the variance between the measurements you have been given and the IH-9634Z sizing charts is due to different ways of measuring.

So, I had been looking for a good pair of non-fade black "dress jeans" and came across these on Hinoya, of all places. I didn't realize that they were allowed to sell these to customers overseas. (Maybe Haraki really wanted to unload old stock.)

Anyway, these are really badass. The non-selvedge 21 oz denim is quite a bit heavier-feeling than the standard 21 oz. Probably a much tighter weave. They feel like a 21 oz version of the XHS. I'm not a 634 guy, but that might change going forward because these fit really well out of the box. I hope that this denim stays in production because it fills a need for those searching for a pair of clean-looking IHs that maintain that stealthy appearance over time. Can't wait to give these a hot soak and ship them off for hemming.

There’s a new Superblack Selvage in the works that I’ve been waiting for for at least two years. It’s finally in production so fingers crossed that it won’t be much longer.

Wow, didn't know about that. I'm interested to see how those turn out.

So, I finally sent these off to Rain for hemming and have worn them for a couple of days. These are really awesome. Love the 634 cut with the slightly lower rise and the fabric seems kind of like a RHT version of the 19L. I also love that these won’t fade appreciably because I now have a nice pair of “dress jeans.”

                            Apologies for the low-effort photo.

These were my first pair. Was amazed at how they could stand on their own. And be used as a hat… I lost these when I moved, and miss them. But got some good memories haha

I need information about the dimensions of 9634Z. I have 634S in 33 size, perfect fit and these are my favorite jeans. I also want buy same cut, black version of it. However, although these two models are the same cut, their measurements look different from each other. Also, these measurements are different on almost every website and this confused me a bit. Does anyone here have both jeans and can give me idea? Should i go size down, or same as 634s?

If our last available size chart is anything to go by then one would lean towards a size down. However, contacting the seller and making sure you are both comparing apples to apples re the measurements is definitely the safest option.
