    @Mizmazzle I do see what you mean but that’s more fades in 5 months than I get in 5 years so quit complaining.  😉

    @IHOI That fit looks pretty good to me.  If the chest fits well, the shoulder seems are right at the edge and the sleeves are right at the wrist I’d say you nailed it.  You could get away with a small but then those measurements might be too small for you.  If you’re very tall and skinny I’d think you did the best you could making the medium work for you.

      Truly a random question, but I noticed 'Most Online Ever: 1436 (20-01-2020, 21:12:12)' whilst mindlessly browsing the forum at work. Curious as to what (if anything) was happening then, as that number is 6/7x larger than the number of users online at a typical moment in time…

        Probably some sort of Denial of Service attack….Nothing happened that we know of, which could have been an another credible explanation....

            Brilliant thank you! I'll just be careful on the first wash and see how it goes

            @T4920:

            @IHOI:

            Hi there, after reading about UHF shrinkage I was wondering if this fit would work well after washing? Sizing up to a medium gets baggy around my back, like a billowing sail and it's a bit long on body. I'm super skinny in real life with slightly long arms.

            Personally, I think you'll be fine.

            I've had minimal shrinkage from mine with 30c washes and even if you had more drastic results, I don't think you'd be at any detriment fit-wise.

            In an effort to have less clothes I've started buying lots of them

              I’m letting my M65 go because it’s a little tight in the biceps and it’s a little long for my torso aesthetically (in my head). What’s a good in between jacket? My Type 3 is very fitted so it’s a solo piece, I can kinda squeeze a UHF in there. And Texas has been too warm the last few weeks for my N1.

              I would prefer IH but I’m open to other brands. I have a Freenote waxed Rider I’m selling on eBay because it’s just so boxy on me, I prefer a more tailored look.  I really like Mister Freedoms take on Pea Coats, but they don’t have any in my size. Just an idea of what I like aesthetically.

              Thanks!

                May not be tailored enough for you but I bought a beautiful navy moleskin chore coat from Drakes. Also tried on their denim one, which was very very nice but on the grounds that I already had a denim IH one I did not get it.

                  hi all, looking for a black shirt in western cut, cotton, and i've seen a lot of beautifully faded ones, but this time i'm interested if someone can recommend the one that will fade the least, slow fading one. thanks!

                    Chore coats are a little boxy for me, plus hand warmers are a must. Thank you though!

                          Is their a timeline for when specific fall products will be released yet? I’m not seeing it anywhere.

                            Not posted yet, we have not even started shipping SS23 yet (nor have we published guesstimate delivery times for that collection or even published what is releasing in FW23)  🙂

                            When we do, it will be posted here:

                              In just over two weeks I should be enjoying the warm waters of the Caribbean.  My question is:  Is there a trick or method to ensure a good seal on my dive mask without shaving the moustache/beard off?  I’m using a silicone frameless mask…

                              Appreciate any help and advice.  🙂

                                ive never had too much trouble so long as you have a good fitting mask and it's correctly adjusted (i.e. not too tight). Some folks talk about using wax on their mustache. Just make sure you know how to clear a mask from water (tilt back, look up, and blow out through your nose while holding the top of the mask against your forehead with both hands) and all should be ok.

                                  I could be wrong,but it sounds to me like his/your mask won’t have a nose piece. Unless I’m wrong about what frameless means in this context.

                                      typically a frameless mask in the scuba/dive community means a single plate of glass with a single sealing skirt of rubber attached to it around its perimeter.  The frame in this context is typically used when multiple pieces of glass are used and joined to create a mask in which the sealing skirt is then attached to the frame. Both have nose pieces. There is the chance though that he's talking about something else, so I offer to be corrected.

                                      Frameless masks are a bit "softer" feeling in the skirt, have a lower volume (easier to clear), and have better field of view.  Framed masks are more durable, can accommodate prescriptions, and provide a stiffer feeling seal, which can on occasion both hurt and help depending on the fit and such.

                                          @pechelman Thank you so much for the detailed explanation. It’s been a while since I dove and I’m definitely out of the loop on current gear. A friend has a full over the face mask with no nose piece,and that’s what I was thinking it might be.
