@Jett129 first off, that pic alone was worth the trip . Second, I’ve always enjoyed Maker’s and their “46”  which I haven’t had in a while. I saw in another thread that you visited Woodford Reserve too?  Did they have any interesting bottles that aren’t readily available. Sounds like you guys had an awesome time!

I knew going in that Woodford had a a distillery only offering,but alas it was totally sold out by the time I got there. They said they were in the process of getting some more ready,but did not know when that would be. This was hands down our best small trip ever. Also visited Beam,Michters,and Heaven Hill.

Not much. The language is mostly spoken as a native tongue in the north and west and I was born in the south east. Almost nobody I knew spoke it when I was a kid and it was on it’s death bed. It has staged a comeback in the last 20
years, happily.

I've been getting a ton of cardio or low key seeing if I can have a cardiac event cutting and splitting wood. I love using a 6 pound maul to split fire wood. The big ones are so satisfying. And I like when the maul gets stuck in and you lift the wood and maul up on your shoulder spin it backwards and drop it on the stump and the maul blows right through… Immensely satisfying.
