Thanks @sabergirl this was harder than previous marathons because of the elevation. I walked a lot towards the end when it was steep. Next weekend should be easier with less climbing, and before the 100k I will run that distance or more quite a few more times so hopefully it will get easier.

Eastern break at our cabin. Amazing weather. Long country skiing trip with the wife. 5-6 hours. Unforgettable one.

Or, in this case, yesterday. Back in the village where I grew up for a (routine) dental appointment. If you’re into such things, the river used to be the boundary between Wessex and the Danelaw. More recently the pub over the river is where my sister and brother in law met.

Good weekend back to long distance training yesterday now that I've recovered from covid. Also got an email from the home office, I'm now a British citizen as well as an American.
