big concept sci-fi is my jam
Right there with you on this, most certainly my favorite genre. RBW definitely got a little fiddly towards the end, but I'm looking forward to seeing what they do in this new season. I feel like the acting is pretty high caliber, which is often sorta rare in sci-fi.
I thought the first season of Westworld was pretty good, albeit with many weird issues. Then it just really shit the bed in subsequent seasons. I was pretty disappointed, felt like a big waste overall.
I started watching Archive 81 this weekend. Only a couple eps in but it's creepy as hell and I'm very much enjoying it. Parts border on ridiculous, but it makes up for it in other ways… I'm having to watch it sorta spaced out though because my girlfriend won't go anywhere near any kind of scary programming

I had planned on starting Archive 81 this weekend, looked good and kinda trippy. Yellow jackets was a pretty solid first season, I'm interested how they'll keep developing the past/present timelines and hope they don't start relying on too many shock character reveals in following seasons.
RBW did have solid acting, even from its younger characters, and it's got the guy from Vikings, so that's a win for me -
Anyone catch the premiere of Raised by Wolves? I missed it, and am just hoping to hear it was great

Archive 81 was definitely worth watching — for some reason I didn't think it was a series, rather more of a limited thing, so after the finale I'm psyched to know there's more. Curious to see what happens next.

Wasn't nuts about the first ep of S02 of Raised by Wolves, but I'll keep at it.
I know it's not really that big of a deal, but one thing that bugged me was the CG stuff. I liked how the first season got by on story and didn't need to lean on VFX, so the attempts at fancier visuals in the first episode sort of disappointed me in a weird way.
Anyway, I'll get over it… just hope the plot's strong.

Watched the first 4 of Raised by Wolves and I'm still into it, though I agree it wasn't as instantaneously intriguing as s1, but that's par for the course with a second of something. Acting is still good and I'm curious how they'll keep Marcus/Caleb's story going

Dude, I just saw the craziest shit on Netflix. It’s a Japanese show called Old Enough where a film crew follows around 3 year olds that are walking all across town on errands for their parents. This one kid had a flag his mom made him so he could use it to stop traffic on the 4 lane road he had to cross. His diaper was full as hell. He forgot the curry so he had to go back. I was dying.

@popvulture I certainly did finish it, and agree it ended on a high note. I hope they keep the show going, though maybe only for a season or two longer so the story can stay tighter. Seems like they'll start tying together a lot of the weird lore in S3
