IH-777S-21 - 21oz Selvedge Denim Slim Tapered Jeans - Indigo

Hi IH team,

I just bought a new pair of 777S-21 at "Statement - The denim Store" in Munich as a memory of my Germany trip. Now, being back in the US I noticed that the leg length is completely different. 
The left leg is about an inch shorter than the right leg.
The issue becomes more pronounced as the hem is also not completely parallel on that shorter leg (front of leg a bit shorter than back side).
Unfortunately, I did not notice that when trying them on as I was mainly looking for the waist to fit and also as I never had any quality issues with any of my other IH products (Type III, multiple UHFs).

Being 6.7 tall, hemming is no option for me and one reason why I love IH - long legs!
@Giles, any way we could sort this out without shipping the jeans back to Germany? I am based out of NYC.

I tried. Becomes uncomfortable when walking that way…

FWIW I just checked mine and all of them had between .25” to 1” of difference.  I think that’s just how it goes with handmade goods sometimes.  I of course would defer to the person to whom you posed the question.

Got this pair during Self Edge's Black Friday sale in November and decided to wear them for the Invitational. This is not the type of denim that typically wins fade contents, but I don't intend to be competitive. I use these contests as incentive to wear a pair of jeans 150+ times in a 12-month period, which is right around the time that this denim begins to get that nice "lived in" look. This is also the only 20+ oz denim I'm aware of that's semi-comfortable for summer wear.

EDIT: Sorry, I forgot that 20 oz Oni Secret Denim is also very wearable in the summer.

hey everyone, certainty not my first selvedge denim but i finally took the plunge into iron hearts. a slim tapered is usually my go to cut and by now i pretty much have my sizes down to the half inch or so.  so that being said i want to put up a few pics and get some feedback on the fit. 32'' tag size with a 29'' hem gave me some room so maybe another half inch of stretch would make them fit just a little better. let me know what you think and sorry for the bad lighting.

@christopher__ nice one getting your first pair of IH jeans! Quite difficult to see the top block but don't if the waist is a little tight when buttoned at the moment, you can be sure you'll get an inch of stretch in the waist with some consistent wear

They look pretty good but the lighting in the pictures is not very good and the jeans come out almost like a silhouette. If you can take some outside in natural light.

thanks for the input.  overall im pretty happy with the fit for it only being about a week and a half of full wear. the pics were to just get an overall feel.  i think in about 2-3 weeks ill get just that little extra bit of loosening in the right areas to make them just that much better. but by then summer heat will have them as a day time decision vs. midweights.
