No, gas tank only. I fully chopped the rear with minimal fender left, which I will paint black, its raw at the moment. I will put a sissybar on it. I don't ride with a front fender, so I save the paint

Took off this morning on a multiday bike trip from Bolivia to Argentina with three friends.

Left Santa Cruz at 8 am and arrived at 5 pm in Sucre for an overnight stay. This hotel greeted us with an incredible densely flowering bougainvilla.

I’ll try to post morenpics along the way.

Finally had a day off work and some warmer but rainy weather. Got the drag pipes on, plenty more to do when work and the weather cooperates.

I just love the simple look of this! Reminds me of the classic XLCHs. So clean yet so unassuming. Just beautiful looking! If that rear fender sat a little bit more flush to the tire. PERFECTO!

Our our day # 2, we drove past this old hanging bridge (not sure how old).

My trusted steed is holding up quite well.

Typical free-ranging local roadside fauna in Bolivia…usually llamas are quite tranquil and not a huge risk to drivers, unlike their smaller cousins, vicunas, which are nervous and frisky.

Pic in the center square of Villazon, border town with La Quiaca (Argentina) just before we jump into the border crossing administrative mess, misleadingly named customs and inmigration, suggesting something orderly and controlled.

One last picture celebrating with beers the victorious achievement of another border crossing!! This is in Argentina, town called Purmamarca. Great views of mountains up close on either side of it.
